Jewish Visitors to Aberdeen

  • Visitors are welcome at our events! Please email if you wish to attend an event.  Note that we rarely get minyans outside of holidays and special events.

  • Arden Guest House is across the street from the synagogue and is used to accommodating Jewish visitors.

  • In some cases Jewish visitors can stay in the basement flat in our building.  Contact us for more information.

  • There is no rabbi at Aberdeen.  Sometimes rabbis visit us, but otherwise services are led by members of the community

  • There is no mikvah in Aberdeen.

  • We are very grateful to the Memorial Scrolls Trust for letting use of one of their Torah scrolls, MST 323 (originally from Bohemia and Moravia)

  • Shabbat candle-lighting times are available from Chabad and Hebcal
